CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A boutique hotel built in 1840 overlooking downtown Charleston's city market will undergo renovations later this month.
Renovations at the Andrew Pinckney Inn on Church Street will start sometime this month and conclude in February, hotel officials said.
Thirty-two guest rooms will be remodeled. Much of the focus will be in the bathrooms, management said. Each bathroom will feature floor-to-ceiling hand-laid Italian Travertine tile showers, granite countertops and other premium amenities.
Each of the rooms will also be repainted to brighten them and make them more "spa=like," management said.
