Police: Folly Road is now open to traffic

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are reporting that Folly Road is now open to traffic.

According to Charleston Police Department, a truck hit a utility pole and downed several lines around 520 Folly Road on Thursday evening. 

Officials did not have information on the driver's identity, condition or what led to the accident.

The roadway was shut down nearly five hours.
