CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police believe a North Charleston teen has been breaking into cars in downtown Charleston and are hoping the public can help find him.

According to police, 19-year-old Donald Desmond McFadden broke into cars in the area of Cooper and Hanover streets Sunday afternoon.

A police report shows that the victim parked on the street outside her church. When she returned, she found that her passenger side door had been pried open and her car stereo had been stolen.

Police connected McFadden to the crime. His last known address was Ferrara Drive in North Charleston, police said.
