3 people from Summerville arrested, 1 charged in MA murder

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police say three people from Summerville are considered suspects in a Massachusetts murder. 

The District Attorney's Office said 25-year-old Guerry Hickman has been arrested and charged with two counts of murder in connection to a double homicide in Brockton, Mass., last month. 

Officials said he was arrested in North Charleston and will be taken back to Massachusetts, but officials do not have a timeline for his departure from the area.

Meanwhile, police said two others are considered suspects, 32-year-old Anthony Rivera and 27-year-old Crystal Mergenthaler. They were arrested in North Charleston on drug charges. 

Officials said Massachusetts State Police want to talk to Rivera and Mergenthaler about the killings, but they have not yet been charged with the crime there.
