Myrtle Beach nightclub bans smoking

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - A nightclub at the Broadway at the Beach complex in Myrtle Beach has banned smoking.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported that a spokesman for the complex says Crocodile Rocks is the first nightclub at the attraction to go smoke-free.

Crocodile Rocks says it implemented the new policy earlier this month to prohibit smoking inside the dueling piano bar.

Club spokesman Craig Smith says the company thinks the decision will make it more attractive. Smith says the club hosts parties and special events for all ages and wants to create an environment everyone can enjoy.
