The new policy would restrict the entire campus and add "chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes and other smokeless tobacco products" to the prohibited products list.
"Employees, students, volunteers, contractors and vendors are expected to adhere to professional standards of appearance and not have an odor of tobacco products on their clothing or person," the proposed policy reads.
While the old policy included faculty, staff and students, the new policy would also include visitors and contractors.
While no punishment or fine is specified in either policy, the new one does suggest that contractors who don't comply could face "termination of the contract."
