Security cameras help catch two men in the act of trying to steal copper and air conditioning units from a Tulsa church.Jerome Lane, 23, and Jerome King, 19, were picked up at Greater Grace Church Monday night around 9:30. Officers were set up inside the church and watched the two tampering with AC units on the surveillance camera system.A car pulled up to the church and scared Lane and King. They took off, but were caught by patrol officers who had a perimeter set up around the property. Both were arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail on 6 complaints of felony malicious injury to property and 2 counts of felony copper possession.
The church installed its surveillance system after suffering the same type of theft last year.
