Deputies arrest suspect in the murder of Goose Creek man

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- Berkeley County Deputies say they have made an arrest in the murder of a Goose Creek man.

Dan Moon with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Darrell Kasey Williams was arrested and charged with murder Thursday for the death of Deandre White.

Berkeley County deputies and the U.S. Marshall's Service made the arrest around 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

Deputies say White was shot at 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 29 at a home on Jean Wells Drive.  White was transported to a local hospital where he died.

Williams is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
