Women's clinic tussle leads to assault report

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- An argument between an anti-abortion protester and a man at a women's clinic in West Ashley over the weekend led to a police report being filed on Wednesday. 

According to the incident report, 81-year-old William Edward Gasque was protesting abortion at the Charleston Women's Medical Clinic on Highway 61 Saturday afternoon when 60-year-old Larry Center bumped him with his car. 

The incident was filmed by another anti-abortion protester and uploaded to YouTube. 

The report states Gasque was given a Charleston Police Department business card and advised of his options.

At this point, no charges have been filed.
