MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Nearly 20 bottles of prescription painkillers were stolen from a Mount Pleasant pharmacy last week.
According to a police report, 18 100-count bottles of the prescription painkiller were stolen during a heist at Long Point Pharmacy in the early morning hours of Jan. 10.
An employee of a nearby store told police he saw a white SUV backed up to the rear of the pharmacy around 5:45 a.m. The witness did not see anyone in or around the SUV though, officials said.
The suspects broke out a glass window to get into the store, the report states.
