CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Police say they are looking for a missing man who lives on a boat in the Charleston Harbor.

According to police, 64-year-old Richard Sloane went missing from his boat home near the Ashley River Bridge around noon Friday.

A friend waved down police around 11:45 a.m. Saturday to notify them that Sloane was missing.

Divers with Charleston Police, Charleston County Sheriff's Office and Charleston County Rescue are searching the area near his boat.
