Fire rips through Ladson mobile home - WCIV-TV | ABC News 4 - Charleston News, Sports, Weather

LADSON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Fire officials say something underneath a mobile home in Ladson may have sparked and spread to the home.

Fire units from three departments responded to Old Fort Drive in Ladson around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters were still dousing hot spots two hours later.

One person lived in the home but got out okay, according to Assistant Chief David Moore of the Old Fort Fire Department.

The mobile home was heavily damaged in the fire. An exact cause has not yet been determined.
