NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- It's unclear what caused a fire at a Mall Drive business late Thursday night.
Investigators say it looks like the fire started on the outside of Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse and then spread to the roof of the building.
According to North Charleston Fire Department officials, an alert passerby called 911 after spotting smoke. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in 20 minutes.
The fire started around 11:30 p.m., officials said.
No one was hurt. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
The restaurant will be reopened by Friday evening.
