Carlisle man accused of stealing money from his grandmother - WCIV-TV | ABC News 4 - Charleston News, Sports, Weather

State police are investigating a claim that a Carlisle man stole money from his 75-year-old grandmother.

Officers said that the 29-year-old suspect took his grandmother's car to a mechanic for repairs. He then made up a fake estimate of nearly $1,150 and gave it to his grandmother.

In reality, the total for the repair was $263.78.
