CAS says weekend adoption blitz a success

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Charleston Animal Society officials said Monday a weekend adoption blitz was a success and the group managed to adopt out more than 100 animals.

Community Outreach Director Kay Hyman said 107 dogs and cats were adopted over the weekend.

Charleston Animal Society is still offering free adoptions on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The group is also offering special adoption pricing from Thursday to Sunday.
