Tulsa Firefighters worked to put out a balcony fire that destroyed an apartment unit.

It happened just after 4:30 Monday afternoon near 41st & 129th E Ave at the Observation Point apartments.

Firefighters say the fire most likely started on the balcony and spread into the unit, destroying it.

Residents were evacuated as a precaution because of the windy day.

Investigators will decide what started the fire.
