Police: Summerville bank robbed

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) - A man robbed a Summerville bank Tuesday afternoon, Summerville police said.

According to police, the man entered the First Citizens Bank on North Main Street shortly before 3 p.m. and demanded money. The man did not display a weapon, officers said.

The robber is described as a 6-foot-tall white man between 30 and 40 years old weighing about 250 pounds.

Police said there was one customer in the bank at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured during the crime.
