NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - The South Carolina Stingrays showed Tuesday that real men wear pink.
The Stingrays, along with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and East Cooper Medical Center unveiled their 2013 Pink in the Rink jerseys. The team's pink game is slated for Feb. 23.
After the game, the pink jerseys will be auctioned off and the money will go to help the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization dedicated to fighting breast cancer.
"I think everyone been affected some way either with a friend or relative by breast cancer, so it is near and dear to our heart. A part of the game night is one where a survivor will speak. There will be a puck drop," said Stingrays President Rob Concannon.
