ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Berkeley County man has been arrested and charged in the September 2012 murder of a Holly Hill man.
According to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, Kenneth Campbell, Jr. was trying to rob the victim, Richard Davis, on Sept. 24 when he shot and killed him.
Davis was found dead in the front yard of his Surfside Drive home.
"We are grateful to bring closure to the victim's family that the man that was responsible for ending their loved one's life has been brought to justice," said Ravenell.
Campbell's arraignment will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
