Officials: Ashley Ridge bomb threat a hoax

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) - The bomb threat at Ashley Ridge High School is a hoax, district officials said Friday.

Officials at the school received information that there was a bomb at the school, according to the district. A fire drill was called at 11:45 a.m. and police officers searched the campus, determining that there was no threat.

Police gave school officials an all clear and the students were sent back to class.
