Three women were arrested after a shoplifting incident at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre led to a hit-and-run involving a police officer, a chase into North Charleston and a crash into a garage.More >>
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Department released dash cam video from a chase involving three women who on Jan. 23 led officers on a chase from Mount Pleasant to North Charleston before crashing their car.
Authorities said the women hit an officer with their car after a shoplifting spree in Towne Centre. They have been charged with aggravated assault and shoplifting.
The officer hit is alright.
Bond for each of the women was set at more than $100,000.
