Boat stuck under Wappoo Bridge

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - A boat was stuck under the Wappoo Bridge, officials said Wednesday afternoon.

Officials advised against opening the bridge until the boat can be stabilized.

A boater said the tide pulled the sailboat under the bridge.

The boat was freed shortly before 2 p.m.
