Police: 238 citations handed out in Wednesday's 526 crackdown - WCIV-TV | ABC News 4 - Charleston News, Sports, Weather

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - North Charleston police handed out 238 citations between 6 a.m. and noon Wednesday in a speed enforcement operation on I-526.

According to police, 165 of the tickets were for speeding, but officers also made one arrest and handed out citations for seatbelt violations, drivers licence restrictions, and several other non-moving violations.

The arrest made on Wednesday was for a stolen license plate, police said.
