Masked man robs Best Western

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police responded to the Best Western on Savannah Highway Monday night for reports of an armed robbery.

According to police reports, the night clerk told officers that a man wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask came into the lobby, pointed a firearm at him and took about $400.

Police have surveillance video and photos of the subject which will be added to this story when they become available.

If anyone knows about this or any other crime, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 544-1111.
