PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- Georgetown County Sheriff's deputies noticed someone throwing trash out of a car window but what started as a littering offense turned into a drug bust.
After being pulled over, the three passengers were ordered to get out of the car when the deputy saw drug paraphernalia inside.
Deputies report they found syringes, 26 bags of heroin and a bag of synthetic marijuana.
Seth Hummell, 18, is charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The driver was released and the other passenger was issued a ticket for littering and released.
