CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Durham School Services said Friday they were making "very good progress" in negotiations with the bus drivers union.

The two sides have been hashing out details of a new contract since July and tensions rose between the two as three school districts' bus drivers voted to authorize a strike.
Currently, Dorchester District 2, Charleston County and Beaufort County school districts use union bus drivers employed by Durham.
