Police: Man used stolen credit card to try and fill 'er up

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police are on the lookout for a man they believe used a stolen credit card to try to purchase gas.

Surveillance cameras show the suspect who tried to pre-purchase $55 worth of gasoline, but the card was declined.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue jacket, white or gray hooded sweatshirt, green pants, white shoes, and a brown beanie.

His car appears to be a dark blue or black Ford Crown Victoria, with silver center hubcaps.

Anyone with information about this individual or the incident can call Charleston Police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
