Police have arrested a 31-year-old woman on kidnapping charges after an incident that led to an Amber Alert earlier this week.
Bixby resident Natasha Hoch was arrested Monday evening after taking an infant, Justice Poindexter, from his father from their home at the 11800 block of S 87th E Ave. Hoch and the father were reportedly roommates.
The father, Joshua Andre, allowed Hoch to live there in a separate room and in return she would baby sit his son. According to the booking report, Andre and Hoch were not in a relationship.
Channel 8 was at the scene when Bixby Police found Hoch and the boy at the Kum N Go off Riverside Dr. and the Creek Turnpike.
according to the booking report, a woman with Hoch stated they were returning the vehicle and Poindexter when they heard the alert. The woman called the police from the Kum N Go.
The boy's father said he came home from work, found his house ransacked and Poindexter was missing.
After the Amber Alert was issued, a woman called police saying Hoch had told her the car was probably stolen and the child kidnapped. The woman had met Hoch through an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
Hoch was arrested for kidnapping, larceny from a house and larceny of or from an auto. She is due in court on Feb. 20.
