CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A City of Charleston employee was arrested for a second time on embezzlement charges Thursday.
According to Charleston police, 29-year-old Antonio Leroy Rutledge, who is already facing charges for embezzling about $4,000 from the city, was charged again because of $40 that was found missing.
According to the police report, a witness found Rutledge had issued a permit, collected $40, but never turned the money in or reported it to the city.
Rutledge was charged with embezzlement of public funds and bond was set at $25,000.
