No charges in accident involving pedestrian at Goose Creek High - WCIV-TV | ABC News 4 - Charleston News, Sports, Weather

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) - The driver who hit a minor in front of Goose Creek High School Friday afternoon was not at fault in the accident, Highway Patrol officials said.

According to Troopers, a car traveling down Red bank Road was slowing for a changing traffic light when a pedestrian entered the roadway, running between cars stopped at the light. The unnamed minor was hit by a pickup truck.

Troopers said the pedestrian was not using the cross walk while trying to cross the road, which resulted in the accident.

Highway patrol officials are still investigating the accident.
