CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Calling all foodies!
The South Carolina Department of Agriculture is again teaming up with the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition and getting wild in the kitchen this weekend in Charleston.
A dozen chefs from restaurants across the state are using fresh, local ingredients to cook up Certified South Carolina creations. Their demonstrations started Friday and run through Sunday.
Anyone stopping by the Certified SC tent can also pick up some goods from the SC Specialty Food Association. There's also a cookbook featuring recipes from the "Wild in the Kitchen" demonstrations.
