A word of caution if you use Interstate 44 eastbound to head to work Monday morning. Road construction has caused a new bend in the road.

Over the weekend, crews moved the center median on the eastbound lanes just after you pass over Harvard Avenue.

The new wall placement creates a little curve that can sneak up on you if you aren't paying attention.

The change comes as part of the continuing project to widen i-44 at Lewis avenue and replace the bridge overhead.
