CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The third and final suspect in an armed robbery that happened while a girl was on Skype with her boyfriend was arrested Tuesday.
The suspect, 20-year-old Brandon Green of Summerville was caught in Columbia by officers with the U.S. Marshals Service, Richland County Sheriff's Office and Cayce Police Department.
Green is charged with burglary in the first degree, nine counts of armed robbery, four counts of assault and battery in the first degree and nine counts of kidnapping.
According to police, on Feb. 11, three masked men, two of them armed with
handguns and one of them with a red baseball bat, entered the residence
and robbed the victims of their money, cell phones and six Macbooks.
The police report says a man was on Skype with his girlfriend when he
saw an "unknown male" wearing a black mask or bandana over his face and
armed with a silver handgun walk into the girlfriend's bedroom. He told
police the call was dropped and he immediately called 9-1-1.
The other two suspects, 20-year-old DeShawn Heyward and 20-year-old Le'Darian Phillips have already been arrested.
Heyward is charged with four counts of armed robbery, three counts of
assault and battery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree,
four counts of kidnapping, simple possession of marijuana and
possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Phillips is charged with nine counts of kidnapping, nine counts of armed robbery, three counts of assault and battery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
