NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. WCIV) - The Regions Bank on Ashley Phosphate Road was robbed Tuesday afternoon, police said.

According to police, a white man walked into the bank around 2:30 p.m. and gave a note to the teller demanding money. He did not show a weapon during the robbery, police said.

The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of money and he  left.

Police describe the man as about 6 feet tall and 200 lbs. with a light goatee. He was wearing a tan baseball cap, a gray long-sleeved shirt and jeans.

Summerville police officials believe the suspect in Tuesday's robbery is the same suspect in the Regions Bank robberies in Summerville and West Columbia last month.

Anyone with information should call North Charleston Police at 554-5700.
