Deputies investigating stolen lawn equipment in Summerville

LINCOLNVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) - Charleston County deputies are looking into a burglary at the Summerville Little League baseball fields on West Boundary Street.

According to deputies, two leaf blowers, two weed eaters, an edger, a tiller and a riding mower were all stolen.

According to an incident report, the property manager said the gate was locked the night before, but when he returned almost 24 hours later, the maintenance shed was open. The property manager told deputies it looked like someone pried the door open, according to the report.

The stolen machinery is valued at more than $10,000, the report states.
