Police: VA man arrested for raping cousin

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police have arrested a man they believe raped his second cousin in her West Ashley apartment.

According to an incident report, the victim told police her second cousin raped her in her home on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard.The report says the attack took place on November 17, 2012.

Police say the victim named the suspect, 20-year-old Richard Morris, and told them he was staying with her while he passed through town on his way to Miami.

Bond for Morris was set at $25,000.
