CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
Five times in the past four years, 21-year-old Daniel Jumbelick has been on the wrong side of the law, according to police.
According to court documents, he was arrested for breaking into 10 businesses near Newville in 2009, another burglary in 2010, for calling in a bomb threat to Carlisle High School last December, and now, another burglary arrest.
His criminal record is similar to that of 22-year-old Colin Wilson, who authorities say has been arrested five times since last July. On two separate occasions, he's accused of committing crimes with Jumbelick.
This month, the pair was charged with burglarizing three Carlisle area locations back in November, including Project Share, a community food pantry in North Middleton Township.
"Obviously, a burglary and a theft is no good no matter what the business is, but certainly in a situation like this where they are breaking into a business that is trying to help people in need, there is a little bit more to it," said Trooper Robert Hicks, a spokesman for Pennsylvania State Police.
The duo are also charged with breaking into the Country Butcher Shop in West Pennsboro Township. The owner said a window was broken and $500 was stolen.
Police said considering their records, Jumbelick and Wilson should see more serious consequences in the court system.
