James Island 'disturbance' ends in brief car chase, deputies say

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) - What deputies are calling a "disturbance" at a James Island drug store ended in a brief car chase Monday afternoon.

According to Charleston County deputies, officers responded to the Walgreens at the intersection of Camp and Folly roads due to a "disturbance." When they got there, witnesses provided a description of the suspect and the vehicle.

Deputies gave chase, but the chase ended about 1.5 miles away at Henderson Road.

The person driving the vehicle was arrested.
