Police trying to ID suspect in Francis Marion burglary

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Charleston police are trying to identify the man seen in surveillance photos they think may be connected to a burglary at the Francis Marion Hotel on Sunday.

According to police, a guest at the hotel called police after finding that her laptop had been stolen from her room. Hotel management could not determine that the room was broken into, adding that each floor does not cameras.

As a result, hotel staff and police were not able to determine who entered the woman's room.

On Tuesday, police released photos of a man they want to question in connection to the crime.
