CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man who already faces four sexual assault charges is now being charged with another by Charleston police.

Nathaniel Wilson, 47, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct for a rape that occurred on Feb. 29, 2012. According to the incident report, the victim told police she was assaulted in "the field area under the Interstate 26 overpass, west of the intersection" of Meeting and Lee streets.

Wilson, a convicted sex offender, is already facing charges for four other incidents.

He was arrested in August and charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct for fondling a woman on the pedestrian bridge of the crosstown.

Wilson was also charged in September with assault with intent of criminal sexual conduct after a victim said he choked her unconscious and kicked her. That attack happened in April 2012.

He was charged again in October for a rape that occurred in July 2012 at an abandoned house on Line Street. According to an affidavit, he choked the victim while raping her multiple times.

Wilson is also charged with attacking a woman in her own home during a party in July 2012. Court records say the woman had people over for drinks when Wilson caught her alone, pulled a knife on her and raped her in a bedroom.

According to court records, Wilson has been incarcerated since August. So far bonds have been set at $300,000.
