NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A bond reduction hearing was held for a local man facing multiple charges of criminal sexual conduct.

Jon Brannen, of Mount Pleasant, is charged with criminal sexual conduct against a little girl.

Court documents accuse Brannen, 60, of committing criminal sexual conduct against a minor, as well as a lewd act against a minor between 2009 and 2011. The court papers also say the alleged victim was less than 10 years old at the time.

Brannen's attorney, Andy Savage, said bond was set at $50,000. The bond did not require a surety posting so Brannen should be released as soon as he pays $5,000 with the clerk of court.  That money will be returned if his charges are resolved.

Brannen's bond was initially denied for the charges of criminal sexual conduct. For the charge of a lewd act against a minor, bond was set at $25,000.
