NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - A man was charged in a single-car accident that snarled traffic on Interstate 26 Tuesday morning.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Jariah Shaw, of Summerville, was in the westbound lanes of I-26 and tried to exit to the left, over-corrected and overturned.

Shaw was not wearing a seatbelt, Troopers said.

He was charged with driving too fast for conditions and not wearing a seatbelt.
