Police Seek Information on Suspect Stealing from Downtown Businesses

Police are seeking information Wednesday morning in reference to a larceny suspect targeting downtown Tulsa businesses as well as area hospitals.

Tulsa Police said the suspect is walking into the businesses and approaching unoccupied desks or common areas and stealing any items of value.

According to the release from TPD, in instances when the suspect has been approached by employees he has stated he was there to fill out an employment application or asked to use the restroom.

Items that have been stolen include:

   iPhones

   iPads

   iPods

   and wallets or purses

Police describe the suspect as being a black male in his early 20’s and five foot ten inches tall and between 170-190 pounds, according to the release. He has black hair and braids and has been seen with them pulled back into a ponytail.

The suspect also reportedly wears a light gray hoodie or jacket with the “Scarface” movie silhouette either on the back or front and wears bright blue (also described as turquoise) tennis shoes .Officers say he may be using city buses for transportation.
