CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Police are looking for a woman they say stole a laptop, iPad and headphones from the Medical University library on Thursday.

According to campus police, a College of Medicine student said his black Northface bookbag was stolen. Inside was an iPad, Bose headphones, an Apple MacBook Pro and its charger, as well as cases for the iPad and computer.

The victim told police he left the things on his desk to go to dinner at 6:30 p.m. and returned about 90 minutes later.

A witness told police that he saw a black woman, approximate 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 210 pounds pick up the bag and leave the library around 7:30 p.m. Surveillance videos in the library captured the woman walking out of the building.

The victim called public safety at 9:30 p.m. to say that his bookbag had been found in a second floor bathroom, but the iPad and laptop were not inside.
