Study: Teens At Risk For Skipping Vaccines

Posted: Updated:

Some teenagers could be at risk for serious diseases.

That's because they're not getting the recommended vaccinations.

They're for things like tetanus, whooping cough, meningitis, and HPV.

Some parents did not think the shots were necessary, and others say they were not recommended.

Cost wasn't a major concern, but it was a factor for a small percentage of people.

The findings are from a new study by the University of Oklahoma's College of Medicine.
