1 person dead in North Charleston shooting; suspect at large

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- One man was shot and killed in a North Charleston neighborhood Wednesday night and police are looking for two men witnesses saw running from the area, police said. 

According to North Charleston police, a man was found on Wales Court suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died, police said. 

The man's identity has not been released by officials. 

Police say witnesses reported hearing several shots in the area and saw at least two men running from the area.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
