DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) - The Family Circle Cup will increase its international television coverage by more than 300 percent in 2013, broadcasting the tournament in 143 countries worldwide.
In 2012, the Family Circle Cup distributed eight matches to international television partners across the globe, totaling 14 hours of airtime and reaching nine million viewers. In 2013, this number will increase dramatically, showcasing 33 matches on-air and creating more than 70 hours of television coverage from Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina.
Nineteen additional matches will be broadcast online for live streaming, distributing matches from the Cup's Althea Gibson Court for the first time.
In total, more than 100 hours of tennis coverage from the Family Circle Cup will be available for fans to watch around the world.

Utilizing a partnership with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and a new international television rights distributor, Perform, every match on Stadium Court will be produced in high-definition broadcast quality content and distributed to the Cup's international partners across the globe.
