    Thursday is Arbor Day... a day dedicated to public tree planting in the United States.

    Tulsa Parks celebrated by planting six new trees in Reed Park in West Tulsa.

    The Parks Department says this is Tulsa's 20th year as a "Tree City USA Community" sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation.  The designation helps provide direction, technical assistance, public attention and national recognition for urban and community forestry programs.
