COTTAGEVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) - A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Cottageville for Saturday night's $338 million drawing.

The ticket was sold at the Cottageville BP station at 11020 Cottageville Hwy.

The winner, who has not come forward publicly yet, matched all five white numbers drawn. Had the ticket purchaser bought the PowerPlay for $1, the prize would have increased to $2 million.

The winning lottery numbers Saturday night were 17, 29, 31, 52 and 53. The Powerball was 31.

According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, more than 41,000 people in the state have tickets worth $4 up to $1 million. Players have 180 days to claim their prizes.

The odds of winning the $1 million prize are 1 in 5.1 million.

This is the second time the Lowcountry has hit on the $1 million prize. In February 2012, a Summerville woman won $1 million on the Mega Millions game.
