North Charleston football coach ousted

Posted: Updated:

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- For the third time in three years, North Charleston High School is looking for a head football coach.

After a single season, Ra'shan Frost is out as the head coach of the Cougars.

"A personnel decision was made and Coach Frost is no longer the football coach at North Charleston. At this time, we are actively interviewing for a new head coach and are giving careful consideration to all applicants," said principal Robert Grimm.

Frost is a former Auburn player and Charleston Southern University assistant.

"I am considering options outside of coaching. There is always a chance I'll coach again," Frost said. "I am a better person and coach having been here at North Charleston."
